Weekend Seminar Passes now open to all photographers

Following a successful debut last year, the second annual British Professional Photography Awards takes place over the weekend of the 15th, 16th and 17th October 2005 at the prestigious Hilton National Hotel in Coventry, with the main Awards Dinner taking place on the evening of the Sunday 16th.

The event is staged by the Master Photographers Association (MPA) and the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP). The aim of the Awards is to become the biggest and most spectacular professional photography awards ceremony to be held in the UK.

The organisers have put together a mouth-watering selection of seminars, hosted by some of the world's top names in photography. The President of Professional Photographers of America, Anne Monteith, is hosting a seminar, as is digital workflow expert, Paul Cooper. The pioneer of streetwise portraiture, Hossain Mahdavi, will be speaking, along with Kevin Wilson who is still recognised as one of Europe's leading wedding and portrait photographers. The line-up of speakers is completed by Alan and Keeley Stone who operate a leading fashion and commercial studio in Leeds.

Weekend Seminar Passes, which enable the holder to attend all the seminars, lectures and the trade exhibition that will take place over the weekend, are now on sale. These are also being made available to non-members for the first time. The cost of the passes is just £25 + VAT. Considering that Anne Monteith charges up to $1,000 for a four day course this represents incredible value for money.
