BIPP's Dee Prior receives Presidential Award

In recognition for her outstanding service to the industry, Dee Prior, Admissions and Qualifications Secretary of the British Institute of Professional Photography, has received a Presidential Award from the Master Photographers Association's outgoing President Dennis Hylander, Hon FMPA.

Dee was unable to make the presentation ceremony at the MPA's Annual Awards last year, so Dennis caught up with her at a recent Licentiate Judging in Ware to present her with the certificate.

Dennis said: "Dee was at the BIPP when I first joined in the early 70s. She's put in so much effort for so many photographers and it's about time someone like that gets their just rewards."

Dee was 'highly delighted' to have received the Award: "It was a great surprise; I feel very honoured," she commented.
