Mobility : Interdean scoops major BP Mobility Awards
Interdean International Relocation has received a series of major honours from one of its blue-chip clients, BP, for its achievement in providing mobility services.
BP has a programme of Vendor Awards that are voted for by the energy giant's International Mobility Advisors. Following this process Interdean International Relocation was presented with three awards at a ceremony at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC.
The awards are:
* The BP International Mobility International Vendor Award 2008 went to Interdean London. This award is given for, 'continuously providing BP with the highest level of service and commitment to BP's highest quality of standards.'
* The BP International Mobility Individual Award 2008 was awarded to Lynne O'Leary. This award is to, 'recognise the tremendous effort, steadfast optimism, tireless efforts to customer service and brilliant performance.
* Interdean Baku was presented with the BP International Mobility Regional Vendor Award - MOW (most of world) 2008.
Lynne O'Leary, Corporate Account Director at Interdean International Relocation, was understandably delighted with the honours: "To get one award from a company like BP would be good, but to be presented with three really is amazing. These awards are for everyone at Interdean International Relocation - it's a real team effort here, so it's fantastic for our staff to be recognised in this way."
Lynne continued: "Winning these awards shows the consistency of our standards and also demonstrates the continued high quality of our customer service. We're all particularly pleased for our manager in Baku, Vagif Samosud, who has worked so efficiently in what can be quite a challenging location."
Interdean International Relocation handles over 500 global moves a year on behalf of BP. The companies work together on air, sea and road moves and also on long term storage solutions.
Anita Blanchett, from BP's mobility team, explained why Interdean were rated so highly. "Our aim at BP is to put long-term vendor relationships in place," says Anita.
