Fujifilm Professional proves that film is "Back in Fashion"

"Back in Fashion" is the new campaign from Fujifilm Professional designed for all professional photographers. All purchases of a 20-roll pack of either NPC 160, NPS 160, NPH 400 or Reala will include a token which can be redeemed against an exclusive range of Back in Fashion T-shirts, caps and mugs.

The stylish range of collectable merchandise has been produced especially for users of 120 roll film.

Medium format colour negative stock is the film of choice for many photographers and Back in Fashion aims to promote all the films in the Fujicolor colour negative range.

The promotion draws attention to the film's excellent "scanability" and ties in with the current enthusiasm from commercial photographers to shoot on negative film, have it processed, scanned and then put on their website. One of the aims of Back in Fashion is to bring more C41 business into labs right across the country.

Jeanette Beattie, marketing manager of Fujifilm Professional, explained the reasons behind the campaign: "As we are in regular contact with labs right across Britain, we are in the ideal position to assess current trends within the market. Many labs are reporting a steady increase in professional photographers shooting neg and then scanning. I'm sure this is due to an increased awareness of the quality that can be achieved."

Beattie went on to say: "Professional photographers can now benefit from Fujifilm's advances in colour negative film technology. Our films provide commercial photographers with the optimum quality, whatever output is chosen. I have felt for some time that technology is pushing photographers in a direction they don't necessarily want to go; and the versatility of colour neg film gives photographers ultimate control over the quality of their work.

"This campaign is yet another example of Fujifilm's commitment to 'real' film and we hope that our customers enjoy collecting the Back in Fashion merchandise."
