Printer Control
Negs available for Fujicolor NPH 400 film
Fujifilm Professional wishes to make photographic laboratories aware that
printer control negs are now available for its Fujicolor NPH 400 film,
which underwent an emulsion upgrade last year.
Although the negs have been available since the upgrade, it appears that
some labs have not yet updated their NPH printer channels, causing possible
filtration problems and degraded prints.
Fujicolor NPH 400 - Fujifilm's advanced high-speed colour negative film
- offers smooth and natural skin tones and has outstanding push/pull capabilities,
making it particularly suited to wedding and portrait photography. With
super-fine grain it is also ideal in mixed lighting conditions, especially
when a little extra film speed is required.
The control negs are only necessary for analogue print systems and are
not required for digital printers, such as Fujifilm Frontier minilabs.
They are available in 120 size only.
Labs who wish to obtain the control negs, or photographers wishing to
discuss any problems they are having with the film, should call Fujifilm's
technical department on 01234 34 0040.
