FDIS trade show hailed a success
The recent Fujifilm Digital Imaging Service (FDIS) Trade Day was hailed as 'a
huge success' by exhibitors and delegates alike.
The event, held at the Ramada Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, attracted over 50 FDIS
member retailers. The seminar room was packed with delegates who heard sessions
on the FDIS marketing initiatives planned for the coming year, self-promotion
through PR and web activities, making a profit from large format printing and
what lessons were to be learnt from the Mystery Shopper results.
Member retailers had plenty of opportunity between seminars to chat to the trade
suppliers, which included: Tudor, The Magic Touch, PhotoWonder, Dayfold Binding
Solutions, Transfer2, FDIS Outlab Service and WPS Media. All the exhibitors
had exclusive 'on- the-day-offers' available to member retailers.
Pete Wigington from Fujifilm made this comment: "Our Trade Days are an
excellent networking opportunity, both for our member retailers and our suppliers.
The suppliers all reported brisk business and all the seminars were well attended.
It was great to see so many members make the most of this opportunity; most
arrived at 11am when we started and didn't leave till late evening. It was a
very positive day so I'm really looking forward to our next Trade Day in Edinburgh
on 9th October."
