Fujifilm hails Spring Fair a 'huge success'
The recent Spring Fair International trade fair proved to be real winner for Fujifilm, with the company reporting much higher than expected levels of orders and enquires.
As Peter Hayward, commercial manager from Fujifilm says, they were delighted by the results: "We were much busier than in previous years and the number of firm orders was up dramatically. The show was so good for us, we've already booked our stand for 2011. There was a really positive feeling about Spring Fair this year, with a definite 'recession-busting' feel in the air!"
One of the big hits on the Fujifilm stand were the demonstrations of Wunderbars, the revolutionary framing system for canvas prints. Peter explains: "We were keen to show visitors to Spring Fair how easy it is to create canvas wraps using the Wunderbars system so we had a continuous stretching demonstration on our stand that showed the full process, including printing and stretching. This proved to be a huge success and we'll be repeating the formula for the forthcoming Focus-on-Imaging trade fair."
Spring Fair organisers backed-up Fujifilm's positive view on the show, reporting that the 70,000 visitors who made the trip to the NEC this year was the highest footfall the Fair has enjoyed for three years.
