Fujifilm reports brisk business at PSPA Conference

Fujifilm used the recent PSPA Conference in Daventry to showcase its ground-breaking new i2LiteBox Schools workflow software, together with the new Frontier 400 Dry Minilab and ASK thermal printer.

The event attracted schools photographers, labs and suppliers from across Britain and the demonstration of the i2LiteBox software proved to be a real hit with delegates. The software has been developed in partnership with Halse Systems. i2 is Fujifilm's Frontier image processing software that comes with all 7 series minilabs and this Image Intelligence software has now been integrated with the Litebox software to make it even more intelligent.

Halse managing director Robin Henderson enthralled the audience with his presentation entitled 'How new advances in workflow technologies can help you sell more.'

I2LiteBox Schools is a progression from the acclaimed LiteBox Pro and has been developed specifically for the schools market. The system is built around a sophisticated database that enables the operator to search and sort images via the unique 12 data fields that are available for each image. As all the information is stored in the database, a job that has previously been printed can be recalled and re-printed in exactly the same way.

The software utilises a barcode system and allows for fast, easy handling of a large volume of portrait images and provides a wide range of innovative custom packs, layouts and composites that are all geared towards making your business more profitable.

Fujifilm staff brought along a Frontier DL400 Dry Minilab and it showed its versatility by being easily wheeled between the halls for different presentations. The company has just taken delivery of a new Volkswagen Touran, complete with full Frontier livery. The car will now feature in a series of roadshows across Britain to demonstrate the DL400. The car has been modified to take a DL400 and a kiosk so if getting to Fujifilm's Bedford HQ for a demo has proved to be a problem for you, the demo can now come to you.
