New dye-sub printer from Fujifilm
Fujifilm launched the ASK-2500, the latest addition to its acclaimed ASK printer range.
The ASK-2500 is a real speed machine, capable of printing one 6 x4 inch image every 6.9 seconds. This swift turnaround time means increased productivity, reduced waiting time and enhanced customer service.
This new model incorporates a 'High-quality mode' as standard, this feature is indispensable for template photos, index prints and ID photos. It prints with extraordinary clarity enabling the reading of even the smallest letters, numbers and barcodes.
Sharp reproductions of facial contours are a feature of the ASK-2500 which makes the printer the ideal choice for event photography and ID work.
A wide range of available print sizes opens up new profit streams - the ASK-2500 offers much more than just a 6 x 4. Also available are 3.5 x 5 inch, 5 x 7 inch, 6 x 8 inch and 6 x 9 inch.
The ASK-2500 is a dye-sublimation printer that uses thermal transfer to achieve its stunning results. It is recommended to be used with Fujifilm's 'Quality Thermal Photo Paper' - a result of the company's expertise in silver halide technologies. One roll of paper gives 600 prints at 6 x 4 inch or 308 prints when set to 5 x 7 inch.
This recently improved paper gives enhanced whiteness and brilliance. The rich, expressive gradation reproduces glossier and brighter skin tones and add an extra touch of reality to landscape prints. The paper is manufactured through a proprietary coating technology process that requires virtually no polluting organic solvents so is ecologically friendly. The paper also has reduced static which improves consumer handling of prints and reduces sticking.
A small footprint of just 300mm x 411mm means the ASK-2500 is the ideal choice for a host of situations where space may be at a premium such as photographers studios, retail outlets and location work.
