Fujifilm announces further dates for Dry Minilab tour
Following the continued success of the Frontier DL410 Dry Minilab road show events, Fujifilm has announced a further set of dates.
The tour re-starts at the Wellington Park Hotel in Belfast on 9th and 10th September, then moves to The Village Hotel in Coventry on 16th September. The Nottingham Hilton will host the event on 23rd September before the tour wraps-up on 30th September at the hotel by the Stoke by Nayland Golf Course in Leavenheath, Suffolk.
The event at Belfast is to be split into two parts, the first day (9th) is aimed at professional photographers and the Government market, this day is being held in association with Calumet.
The following day (10th) is targeted at the retail and pharmacy sector and is in association with Swains.
Each event will start at 12 noon and run until 9pm. Fujifilm representatives will be meeting pro lab and Government buyers from 12 to 4:30pm. Then from 5:30pm, up to the close at 9:00pm they will welcome independent retailers.
Dry Minilabs are a new development in commercial photo printing. They are functionally similar to Fujifilm's traditional Frontier minilab equipment, but do not use wet chemistry. In addition to the Dry Minilab, visitors will also be able to see Fujifilm SmartPix photo kiosks, the Epson 7880 and 7900 large format printers, and the Fujifilm IP-10 passport and ID photography system.
Paul Austin, marketing executive for Fujifilm, said: “The turnout we've had for previous Dry Minilab road shows has encouraged us to arrange another series of dates. Our latest event in Manchester was a run-away success with all sectors of the industry being well represented. We are really looking forward to meeting as many people as possible on the tour and demonstrating to them our latest, cutting-edge photofinishing solutions.”
The tour has already visited Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, Liverpool, Exeter and Manchester. To register your interest, please email minilabs@fuji.co.uk or contact your Fujifilm representative for further information.
